Silk Bingo

Silk Bingo is another new addition to the already comprehensive range of sites which use the Dragonfish software system. The site is certainly not new but has
built up a good reputation during recent years and now has a strong following of loyal players who regularly return there.

How It Looks

The front page is a nice simple layout with all of the stuff placed in the centre on top of a red silk background.
The people behind the site have obviously gone for a glitzy yet classy feel and this is reflected in the logo which consists of a shiny bingo ball wrapped in another piece of red silk upon which is placed the name of the site in shiny gold lettering.

The front page seems to lack any of the more important info such as what games are currently playing and how much each one will cost.
Instead, it is mainly all about banners promoting the welcome offers, slot jackpots and the current side game offerings.
Near the bottom is a bit of blurb about the site including some ticket prices and games and at the top there is a nice clear box to allow registered users to log in.

It’s not all bad though as more often than not, sites which have a minimalist front page can turn out to be a lot more fun than the ones that have flashier one.
The four items on the top menu take you to the usual places including the promotions section, the side game info page and the members are where you can log in.

Once the player enters one of the rooms, for example a 90 ball room, the colours start to get a bit, shall we say, bright.
The cards are over on the left and the chat is on the right and the information is clear and readable with everything in the right place.
It’s the colour scheme in these parts of the site that some players may find a bit distracting during the game.
The combination of green, orange and pink, otherwise known as lime, orange and strawberry, brings back memories of certain kinds of sweets and although they look great in little wrappers, they’re not so great when they fill the entire screen.

The Game

Players can play the two main types of bingo on the site in the form of 90 and 75 ball types with the addition of the relatively new Swedish high five game too.
There are four 90 ball rooms and four 75 ball rooms plus some others as of the date of this review.
There’s a place on the card screen to choose the ticket strips and, like many of the other good quality sites, players can choose the voice of the caller to suit their tastes.

Players who are familiar with the Dragonfish platform will be instantly at home playing in the good selection of rooms on Silk Bingo.
On the right hand side of the room screen players can find the chat feature which can really add to the experience and is home to some really friendly chat moderators.

Side Games

Fluffy Favourites is the star of the show in terms of the slot side games and there are also many more to play as well including scratchcards and casino games.
Much the same as the bingo games, the side games can have some really healthy jackpots on offer and it’s all available to play during any gaps you might have while you’re on the site.

Offers

New players are encouraged to join with a 200 percent bonus with access to some free rooms thrown in for good measure.
There are some huge monthly jackpots up for grabs for funded players plus a great selection of daily games and events in most of the themed rooms.

There’s a reload bonus in place to encourage players to keep going, free games for funded players with some good jackpots plus some very generous guaranteed jackpots in the more popular rooms.

Everything Else

Silk Bingo rewards its loyal players with points which they can then spend on various goodies on the site.
Players can get help if they need it via a freephone UK number, an online help form, a FAQ accessible from the question mark icon at the top of the page or simply by asking the question in the chat window.

Being a Dragonfish site the security of your personal info will never be a problem and players will find that all of the usual payment methods are welcomed.

Overall, Silk Bingo offers a good package and although they don’t provide some of the huge offers and prizes that other sites do, they still have a strong following amongst players.
